According to engineering design, lake levels on Pine Lake, North Lake and Patricia Lake (east of NC 87) will return to normal pre-Florence levels once the dams are completed. According to design, the corresponding lake level will not be impacted. Due to the fact that the middle dam, which is privately owned, is not being repaired, the lake level west of NC 87 to the upper dam will be lower.
