Swimming Lakes

The City of Boiling Spring Lakes offers swimming opportunities at the following parks:

Spring Lake Park Mirror Lake Park Seminole Lake Park Tate Lake

Each swimming season (May - September) the city conducts water quality testing for the swimming lakes. The city is not mandated by the State of NC to do such testing but do so in hopes of keeping our recreational swimming areas suited for their intended public purpose. For your reference as you are looking at the reports our "not to exceed" limits are:

Enterococci 61/100ml

E. Coli 235/100ml

Fecal Coliform 200/100ml

In order for a swimming advisory to be posted for a swimming area, two of the above bacteria would need to be above the limits listed.
